This year will be the twenty-third year for our ELVF race at Road America.  Last year's entry list spanned the United States and Canada, from Massachusetts to Washington and California to Florida; 23 states in all.
The ELVF has never honored a car from the pony car class.  Mustang is this year's featured marque.  It was the most popular pony car during the heyday of the 60’s and early 70’s.  It started its successful racing career with the help of Carroll Shelby.  Later the factory got heavily involved in the Trans Am program.  They found that the “Win on Sunday-Sell on Monday” worked as well in Trans Am as it did in Nascar.  A number of the race group’s car preparation...
